Independence Day Celebrated at Nazareth Hospital with Gusto

The Independence Day celebration at Nazareth Hospital on 15th August 2024 was a meaningful and well-organized event. It commenced at 8:30 am at the School of Nursing Ground, with a large gathering of hospital staff, nursing students, and dignitaries. The program began with a heartfelt prayer song performed by the nursing students, setting a solemn and respectful tone for the event. Ms. Mary Thomas took charge as the Master of Ceremonies, guiding the event with poise and professionalism. The welcome address was delivered by Fr. Melwin Wilson D'Souza, who extended a warm welcome to all attendees, including the distinguished chief guests, Hon’ble shri Abhishek Kumar Singh IAS, SDM, Prayagraj Sadar and his wife, Hon’ble Smt. Neha Singh. Fr. Melwin also acknowledged the presence of doctors, staff members and students, emphasizing the significance of the day. In a special gesture, Fr. Vipin presented a floral welcome to the chief guest, symbolizing respect and gratitude. Following the welcome address, the flag-hoisting ceremony was conducted by IAS Officer Abhishek, which was the highlight of the event. As the Tricolour unfurled and waved proudly in the morning breeze, everyone stood in attention, singing the National Anthem with great pride. After the flag hoisting, IAS Officer Abhishek addressed the gathering. In his speech, he reflected on the importance of Independence Day and urged everyone to contribute to the nation’s progress in their respective capacities. His words were inspiring, resonating deeply with the audience. As a token of appreciation, Dr. Ashok Agarwal presented a gift to the chief guest, expressing gratitude for his presence and his valuable contribution to the event. This was followed by a melodious performance by the nursing students, who sang patriotic songs, further enhancing the spirit of the day. The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Sr. Roshny. She thanked everyone for their participation and efforts in making the celebration a success. The program concluded at 9:30 AM, after which everyone proceeded to the auditorium for refreshments. Overall, the Independence Day celebration at Nazareth Hospital was a well-coordinated and memorable event, reflecting the spirit of patriotism and unity among all participants.
