Nazareth Hospital Marks ‘Yoga Sangam’ with Spirit and Serenity

Undeterred by the early morning showers, Nazareth Hospital joyfully celebrated the International Day of Yoga within its premises by organising Yoga Sangam, radiating a spirit of wellness and unity. The event began at 5:30 a.m. and saw the enthusiastic participation of nearly 200 staff members and students, all gathered to embrace this global movement for health, harmony, and mindfulness. Renowned Yogacharya Mrs. Pallavi Dayal led the yoga session, gracefully guiding the gathering through a series of yogic postures, breathing techniques, and relaxation practices. Her composed presence and clear instructions helped foster a peaceful environment, allowing participants to experience the true essence and rejuvenating power of yoga. The celebration was a testament to Nazareth Hospital’s continued commitment to holistic healthcare and preventive well-being. Many participants shared their heartfelt appreciation, describing the session as both refreshing and energizing. Speaking on the occasion, Director Rev. Fr. Vipin D’Souza highlighted the importance of incorporating yoga into everyday life for enhanced physical and mental health. The event concluded at 6:45 a.m. with a warm vote of thanks extended with a memento to Yogacharya Mrs. Pallavi Dayal and her assistant Ms. Bhavana Jain, who both played a vital role in making the session a success. Through this meaningful celebration, Nazareth Hospital once again affirmed its mission to foster a healthy, balanced, and mindful lifestyle within its community.
