Description: Under the aegis of Nazareth Hospital Society the 48thHospital Day Celebrations of Nazareth Hospital was held on 10th of December 2023, from 5:30 p.m. onwards. The Chief Guest of this function was the Hon’ble Mr. Justice Arun Kumar Singh Deshwal and the Guest of Honor was Rev. Msgr. Reginald D’Souza, Vicar General-Diocese of Allahabad. This function was presided over with the august presence of Most Rev. Dr. Louis Mascarenhas, Bishop, Roman Catholic Diocese of Allahabad & Chairman of Nazareth Hospital Society. The Nazareth Hospital staff along with Nursing Interns and Students of Nazareth School of Nursing presented several Cultural items of dance and folk dance also performed dance drama skits. The first presentation was based on Indian Historic Space Odyssey – Chandrayan series by Indian Space Research Organization. The students of Divya Jyoti School of Nazareth Hospital Society for visually impaired Girl child presented a beautifully coordinated Rajasthani Folk dance which was emotionally and specially acknowledged by the audience. Two drama skits were presented by the Students and Interns of Nursing School based on the life and scarifies of Doctors in Medical profession. Pre independence life of average Indian living under British toll tax recovery was dramatized in Lagaan. There was also a presentation based on Indian Leadership of G20 group of Nation was presented as Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam. The Nightingale Award for outstanding Nursing Care services were jointly presented to Ms. Jamvanti and Ms. Nikhat Fatima by the Hon’ble Chief Guest. The programme concluded with a Fusion Dance and followed by a Vote of Thanks by Dr. Preeti Srivastava to the Chief Guest and the distinguished gathering present. And the annual celebrations of Hospital Day function ended with the rendition of our National Anthem.
